Frontrunner to Ogden...All Aboard!

Last Saturday, the Higbee foursome (Jayme,Carey,Preston and me) went on the new frontrunner train to Ogden. We wanted to check out the ride and thought Preston would love it. Didn't happen quite the way we thought it would. Our man, Preston had another thought in his mind about how to spend the day and this wasn't it!! We still managed to enjoy ourselves though and had a good ride and also enjoyed beautiful Ogden UT for a little while. We had lunch at the Depot Grill (Mozzarella Pesto Sandwich was delicious) and headed back. Preston fell asleep on the ride home....he was not impressed with the ride, but loved the trains. We still had a good time.

My Mother Lou

My Mother is a wild child - she is the first in line for a party and will not go longer than a week to have her hair done. She sways with the breeze and hums and sings every day. Our family has the "dancies" - wandering thru a Mall or ironing clothes, Mom would dance with the music or make her own. We have developed this throughout our family. Song and I find that even the elevator music does it to us and it's all because of my singing and humming mother. I love that about her. I know she got cross with us when we were little but she made everything fun. She still can when she wants to!

Clownshoes

My baby brother David came up with the word "clownshoe" it refers to any ridiculous person or thing. It has been adopted into our family's lingo (see Lingo list) Anyway I feel a bit clownshoe-ish right now as I am learning this blogging
business . . . . . but I hope to get better with experience!
