Pie N' Beer Day Continued!

Here it is, Song! It took me until later to get my pic, but here it is. This is how we spent
yesterday....
My view, floating in the pool....aaahhhh nice.

New version of an old ad...Grandma was putting ice down Preston's pants. He actually
seemed to enjoy it.
This is "Old Rust" aka Rusty - he has been visiting the dog whisperers (Jayme & Carey)
for about 10 days.
You all know Martha - she got a new home yesterday. Hope it's cleaner than the other one.
We like it and it has seed guards on the side - very nice digs, plus she can't get to the paper
(Stop IT!) So far so good. I'll put a pic up later of the cage - it's very swanky.

Pie N' Beer Day!

Lots of fun in the sun - Started off with some swimming and KFC at the mansion with G&G, the Dodges, the dogs and me. Water was great and we had a good time.
Later at a party at Glen's. Preston is sharing some secret with AuntB.

Sorry the pics are out of order, author error---- here again are the 0ld-timers having a little shady time.
Back at the party at Glen's - this is Kiyoko, Aaron's fiancee. She is vey sweet.

This is a picture of Glen's re-done International Truck. He did a great job - said he spent 10 years working on it... Wow. Very cool.
Last but not least: Preston the Fishboy.... swimming with no jacket..

The Moonwalk - 40 years ago today!

The first moonwalk is forever linked to my BFF Lana, her Dad Ray, and the Beatles. 40 years ago today, Lana and I were hanging out in her room, in rapture over the newest Beatle Album, The White Album. We were listening to a cool song (still a cool song) entitled: "Why Don't We Do It In the Road?" - Lana's Dad, Ray Ross, came in the room and unceremoniously ripped the needle across the record (yes folks, it was vinyl) and yelled: HISTORY IS BEING MADE AND YOU'RE GOING TO SEE IT!!!! We ran into the den and sat on the floor watching Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin in black and white making history. It was amazing then and it is still amazing.

Party Week(end) 4th of July

Had a great weekend -we took Mom to dinner at MarketSt for her birthday (Sandra,Dave, M&D, Jayme, me, Becky) and then went to M&D's for a little cake and visiting. Song and family got in late that evening and we went to the mansion to prepare for the party on Saturday and had the kids over for pizza and cupcakes. As you can see fun was had by all. Saturday was great, the weather cooperated and the pool was loaded and food good. Mom had a wonderful time and even swam with her kids and got her hair wet - I was very impressed. We appreciate her and were glad to be able to have a big bash for her 80th. She looks pretty good and I was very impressed with her stamina. Way to go, Mom! Thanks to all for coming and being part of the
"magic". Those that couldn't come - you missed a fun party! Remember that Dad's 80th (and Preston's 5th) is coming up in Sept. Mark your calendars for the 19th......

Mother, arriving in her bunny outfit. She liked the sparkling ears and couldn't find a
tiara. So "Lou".
Corey, relaxing and reading by the pool. Aahhh!
