I went yesterday and voted. I was surprised to see that there were about 15 people voting when I went in and a short line behind me. (I didn't think it would be so busy at 4:45 in the afternoon) It took about 25 minutes in total - well worth it. I am tired of the campaign and want the work to start -whoever is going to be doing it! I was armed with my Utah Voters Information pamphlet in case I needed any reminding of my candidates and chose the people I felt would do the best job. Please everyone - just make sure you get out there and VOTE! You'll be glad you did.

Naughty and Nice!!

We took a trip to LV last weekend. B and George went down to see Mike and Mel's new digs and Jayme, Preston and I went to see the Gkids in their Primary Program. I was so proud of Will and Vivi - Vivi said her lines -with her bountiful smile and a little wave to the crowd when she was done. Her smile is so magical. Then Will said his lines, and later stood up with some other boys as future missionaries... the highlight was his duet with a cute little girl, that I suspected he was sweet on. He is growing up so fast, and tries hard to do the right things and try new experiences. He amazes me - this boy. Watching them, and holding Cady in my lap and Ian next to me, giving me his sweet smile that crinkles his eyes - my eyes were damp and my throat thick as I looked at these little people that I love so much. I am so happy to be their Gma. I was absolutely in Gma heaven!!! I was very proud of Song as well. Her Primary group did a wonderful job.

After church, we rested up and then headed to Planet Hollywood and then went to Sam's Town. Song & Dennis watched Preston and the kids so Jayme, B, George and I went to see Mike's place and then went out so that was fun. M & M's place is very cute and I finally got to meet the infamous Petey, who was a pretty nice dog. It was a great little mini-break!

Have you ever seen such cuteness???? My little group came to SLC for a short visit. They had some business so we made a little mini-break of the weekend. We took Vivi for a haircut at the Cookie Cutters (they do a great job) and then we went to Gardner Village. They enjoyed the witches for the most part (Vivi alternated between liking them and being afraid of them) and Will, Viv and E had a pony ride too. It was quite festive and we had a good time. I am always jazzed up when I get to hang with my g.kid posse!

PP12 - Week ending 9/28

Here is a batch of pics from the last couple of weeks. I have been delinquent and I'm sorry. First off, is Dad's leg injury. He went downstairs to check on the refrigerator (in the middle of the night) and wanted to save 10 cents by not turning on the lights.... bad idea - got dinged on the head, arm, butt, and left leg.... hope it was worth the savings in electrical bills. I offer to give him $5 every time I go up there to pay for the lights so I can see ... sad and he is still recuperating. The big red patch is a large hematoma because he is on blood thinners. Ouch!!!!!!!!!! Next pic is of David and his famility and new (future) daughter in law... Sandra is also taking a photo. Very cute family - if you don't look too much at the Clownshoe King himself. Next we have Dad a few days later after he got his cataract removed. That was easy compared to the triple lutz off the steps in the dark.... He is having the other one done today (10/6/08) .... The other pics are of Sara and Spencer's wedding shower and some of the boys (Preston and his pal, cousin Evan) hanging out together. I just liked the photo of Jayme, Preston, Carey. Things are going smooth so far today... Will post more, Song and Dennis and the kids came in this last weekend so I have some REALLY cute pics I will be posting. September was busy - October is shaping up to be busy as well Spencer's wedding on Oct 14th David and Jayme and Tyler's birthdays this month as well as Halloween and some other adventures. I love the fall! Hey Wendy has a blog going now too! Be sure to tune in . I will add her to my family list.
