Stuff Going On....

Last Thursday, Jayme and I went to Amy's AA/NA meeting - she was getting her 1 year sobriety pin. I was very proud of her. The meeting was interesting - it is so heartbreaking and hopeful, to hear people's stories and understand the struggle of staying clean and sober when alcohol and/or drugs take over your life. Again, I am very proud of Amy. You Go, Girl.

My friend Fred, has been in town for a couple of weeks to get his parents home taken care of.
We went out to dinner and I took this pic of him.... he is like a high school girlfriend (a description borrowed from Jayme) and we can chat for hours about anything. Anyway we had a great time hanging out. This picture has nothing to do with the blog, but I am posting for Jayme and Carey - here's a look at the shutters....
I had to post this cute pic of my man, PD - on his new "monkey" bars.

Fun For All! Happy Birthday Will ! 8

My sweet and special #1 Grandson turned 8!! I can't believe it.... Him and his old friend Spidy were having a good time.
So Proud of Preston! Graduation from kindergarten.... Right on. He looks snazzy in the
Cap and Gown.

Cheerful and Happy - Ian with a snack...

Got in a little "girl time" - went to Cooky Cutters for a summer cut for Viv

and a bang trim and style for Cady. Always a treat.
~Song, Dennis and the Family came in for the Krause Reunion - we got to spend some quality time and Song, Cady and I hit Ikea on Friday and went to lunch. Just the 3 of us. Dennis,Will,Viv and Ian went hiking with their Grandpa up Millcreek Canyon. Saturday was the reunion and on Sunday, Dennis and Carey put in a new divider fence for me, as I am going to be getting a new neighbor, I strongly believe a good fence makes for better neighbors!! As you can see by my postplate, the herbs are flourishing and the flowers are bursting. I love it!

Tae Quon Do Demonstration....

Preston Demo'd his skills.... very impressive! We spent most of the demo listening to the instructor scolding the kids.
