Catching up again.

I had a party party weekend, went to a friend's (and her husband's) going away party who are moving to DC for a couple of years. It had been a year or two since we had seen each other, so it was really good to visit and reconnect. Wendy was in and Mike, too. Spent most of Sunday with PD (I miss him, now that he's not my neighbor) and went to a BBQ at Sues. Here are some highlights:
My niece was in town this weekend. Sue picked her up from the airport and Jayme and I met them for drinks at Totems. It was lots of fun to see her. On Sunday they had a little BBQ - Wendy was demonstrating her "stripper pole" expertise on Sue's patio pole.... who has more fun???? My mother wanted to try it, but we nixed that in the bud... the real picture wouldv'e been the faces in the crowd as she flung herself up and around. I should've taken a movie!

This cloud reminded me of a cute poodle dog, shaking hands... I stopped and took a picture of it. Sorry if that's weird but it was a really cool cloud.....
Mike was also visiting this weekend, him and Adam were enjoying the family over at Sue's as well. I'm glad Preston had a friend to play with.
This is actually the previous week, Preston's bio dad was here to visit. The guys seemed to have a great time together.
Wendy, heads up instead of feet up.

Wonderful Water! Fun Get-Togethers....

I've had Will with me this week and we have had a lot of fun. Today I took him and PD to the mansion for a fun afternoon. The water was delightful and I am sunburned... I remembered to sunscreen them, but didn't do me...
Running off the diving board.
PD jumping off the board!
PD and Miss at Jenny's (& Austin's) party Saturday.
Sue and Kiyoko hangin' out.

Evan, Baby James and Spencer...
Grandma and her boy.... (she is such a sap)....

Cute Elli - she is so sweet!
Miss was excited she could touch toes on the bottom...

Sawyer also hangin' out.... he is so cute.
Earlier in the week, Evan and Preston had a sleepover - they were really
good kids and listened hard!! It was fun to have them. Yars was missing, so we had to let Camel take over for the night. It worked out fine...
The other "camper" - look how cute his feet are. It's really be fun spending time with the next generation.

4th Weekend - Will and Mom

We went to LV for Will's baptism - it was very nice, and I was so proud of him! It is great to be 8!
The kids sang with all their cousins and friends.
Jayme and PD at the pool at our hotel. It was SO HOT in Vegas.
Clownshoe & Son - performing..... and cooling off.

Mom at her birthday party.... she enjoyed herself very much. She always manages to have
a swell time. She sang "Amore" with the accordian player and in general, partied hardy.
The dinner was held at Batistas - a wonderful Italian restarant, that David suggested. It was
a lot of fun. Becky, George, Mike, David, Sandra, Sandra's brother & his wife, Jayme, Dad and me, all celebrated. It's great to be 81.

Stuff Going On....

Last Thursday, Jayme and I went to Amy's AA/NA meeting - she was getting her 1 year sobriety pin. I was very proud of her. The meeting was interesting - it is so heartbreaking and hopeful, to hear people's stories and understand the struggle of staying clean and sober when alcohol and/or drugs take over your life. Again, I am very proud of Amy. You Go, Girl.

My friend Fred, has been in town for a couple of weeks to get his parents home taken care of.
We went out to dinner and I took this pic of him.... he is like a high school girlfriend (a description borrowed from Jayme) and we can chat for hours about anything. Anyway we had a great time hanging out. This picture has nothing to do with the blog, but I am posting for Jayme and Carey - here's a look at the shutters....
I had to post this cute pic of my man, PD - on his new "monkey" bars.
